Why we exist
From the mats to the merchant account
After more than 15 years in credit card processing and gym operations, our founder kept seeing the same two things in academies. They were overpaying to accept cards, often without knowing the real number. And they were spending evenings chasing members about cards that had expired, because the software told them a payment failed and then stopped helping.
Roll Payments was built to remove both. Dual pricing takes the processing cost off the school. A billing department staffed by our people makes the follow up calls, as your academy. The software underneath is built for belts, stripes, kids programs and open mat, because that is the business we are actually in.
The rest followed from the same idea. If a school does not have a web person, we should build and host the site. If a school worries about who is on the mat, we should screen coaches and registrations. One partner, one price, and the parts of the academy that are not teaching handled by people who understand it.
What we run For one flat monthly fee
Safe Academy 360 is an optional add on at $25 per academy plus $5 per certified coach. Everything else is in the flat monthly fee.

Community first
We reinvest 10% of revenue to sponsor fighters and provide free training for kids whose families could not otherwise pay for it. Success on the mat should not depend on what a household earns.
Fair, legible pricing
One flat fee per gym, no tiers, no per student fees and no percentage of your revenue. Dual pricing removes the processing cost rather than burying it. You should be able to predict your invoice.
Support that does the work
U.S. based billing and technical support on every account, and a billing team that picks up the phone to your members instead of emailing you a report about them.
Built for this sport
Belts, stripes, promotion history, kids programs and open mat are the product, not a workaround. We ship improvements against how academies actually run, not how gyms in general do.

CEO and founderA lifelong entrepreneur and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Eric has spent over 15 years in payments and software. He built Roll Payments to bring mat level discipline to merchant services: transparency, fair pricing, and relentless support for gym owners.
Kenny Wilson
COO and partnerEric's partner of 15 years, Kenny runs day to day operations, partner relationships and onboarding. He does not train Jiu Jitsu, but he is a black belt in logistics and customer care, and he is the reason an academy's rollout goes smoothly.

Ten percent, every month
Every month we sponsor athletes, kids programs and community events, funded by 10% of revenue. Jiu Jitsu changes what a kid believes about themselves, and the households that would benefit most are usually the ones who cannot find the monthly fee.
It is not a marketing line we switch off in a slow quarter. It is a fixed share of what the business takes in, which is the only version of this that means anything.
