Safe Academy 360 · Operated by Roll Payments

Protect the academy from every direction.

Safe Academy 360 screens and certifies your coaches, documents your standards, and checks every new registration against public records and sex offender registries, inside the signup your members already complete.

It is a safety certification and screening program for martial arts academies, operated by Roll Payments, and it runs inside the platform your academy already uses. Coaches, students, and registrations are already there, so certification and screening happen where the work already happens.

Inside the platform

Certification and screening, inside the tools your academy already uses

Safe Academy 360 is not another login or another spreadsheet. The academy, its coaches, and its registrations are already in Roll Payments, so the program runs there.

Every coach and every credential, in one place

The academy and each coach are tracked together in your Roll Payments account. Each credential carries its own expiry date, the count of open items is always visible, and a coach shows lapsed when any one credential expires. Renewal is scheduled rather than discovered.

Coaches finish on their phone

Add a coach and they receive a link that works on a phone. They confirm their details, complete the records screen, upload each training certificate as a photo or PDF, and sign the academy's code of conduct. Nothing to install, and they can come back to the link any time.

Each coach completes SafeSport, mandated reporter, and CPR and first aid training with the providers directly. Safe Academy 360 does not deliver the courses and is not affiliated with the providers.

Screening inside the registration your members already complete

When someone registers with your academy, the registration is checked against public records and sex offender registries as part of the signup they already complete. Screening is disclosed in the registration agreement, and it runs automatically so nobody chases paperwork.

An absence of matches is not proof of anything. Registry data is incomplete, matching is name based, and some sources may not answer a given search. No screening catches everyone.

What the academy sees

  • Which sources answered, and which did not. An incomplete search is never presented as empty.
  • Any possible matches, each with a score, the basis for the match, and a link to the public record, for the academy's own review.
  • When there are no possible matches, the statement that no matching records were returned by the sources that answered. Not "clear," not "passed," not "safe."

A match is a candidate for a person to review, not a verdict. The academy decides what to do. Safe Academy 360 does not make that decision for the academy.

Certificate, placard, and website badge

On certification the academy receives its certificate number, certificate and placard artwork, and a listing in the public directory. A badge for the academy's own website links to its verify page, where a parent can confirm the certification is current in a few seconds. If certification lapses, the badge switches to a status not current mark.

What the 360 covers

Two directions, each stated with what it does not do

Safe Academy 360 is a martial arts safety certification for the academy and its coaches, with registration screening built in. The 360 is coverage around the whole operation, not a checklist an owner completes once. Read each one in full.

Certification of the academy and its coaches

Each coach is screened against public records before anything else. A coach who does not pass review does not proceed. Coaches then complete SafeSport, mandated reporter, and CPR training and upload each certificate through the platform. The academy adopts written standards and is listed publicly.

Uploaded certificates are kept on file. They are not verified with the issuing body. Each credential expires on its own clock, and a coach's status shows lapsed when any one of them does.

Screening at registration

When someone registers with your academy, the registration is checked against public records and sex offender registries as part of the signup they already complete. Screening is disclosed in the registration agreement. The academy sees which sources answered and any possible matches, with links to the public record, for its own review.

What it is not

Not a government program, not a license, not a guarantee

Safe Academy 360 is an independent third party verifier. The academy does not certify itself, and the program is not owned by any academy, affiliation, or sanctioning body. It is operated by Roll Payments, which also provides payment services to academies. Who operates this and why.

This is not a government program, not a licensing body, and not a guarantee. Registry and public records data is incomplete, matching is imperfect, and no screening catches everyone.

What Safe Academy 360 gives an academy is screened and trained coaches, written standards, a check on every new registration, and a record of all three.

Safe Academy 360 is not a reporting channel. It does not take, investigate, or act on complaints about an academy, a coach, or a member. If you believe someone is in danger or a crime has occurred, contact local law enforcement.

How enrollment works

Four steps from enrollment to a listed academy

  1. Tell us about the academy

Academy name, location, how many coaches to certify, and how many students are minors. The enrollment form takes a few minutes.

  2. Coaches are screened, then train

Each coach is screened against public records first. Coaches who pass review complete SafeSport, mandated reporter, and CPR training with the providers directly.

  3. Certificates go on file and standards are adopted

Each coach uploads their certificates through the platform. The academy adopts the written standards and keeps them where members can read them.

  4. The academy is listed

The academy appears in the public directory with its certificate number, and receives its certificate and placard artwork. Each credential is tracked to its own expiry date.

Common questions

Plain answers about what certification does and does not mean

No. Safe Academy 360 is a private program operated by Roll Payments. It is not a government program, not a licensing body, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Center for SafeSport, any registry operator, any sanctioning body, or any insurer.

No. Certification means the academy's coaches were screened against public records, completed the required trainings, and have their certificates on file, and that the academy adopted written standards. It reduces risk. It does not guarantee anyone's conduct, and no screening catches everyone.

That the academy has met the program's requirements as of the certified date shown, and when its renewal is due. It does not tell a parent anything about any individual, and it is not a substitute for asking the academy questions directly.

Each credential has its own expiry date, tracked separately. When any one of a coach's credentials expires, that coach's status shows lapsed until a current certificate is uploaded. Expiry dates are visible to the academy ahead of time.

No. Safe Academy 360 is not a reporting channel. It does not take, investigate, or act on complaints about an academy, a coach, or a member. The program exists to put screening, training, and written standards in place ahead of time, and it has no role after the fact. If you believe someone is in danger or a crime has occurred, contact local law enforcement.
